anw quite a pity tt i will be in Taiwan when US president Obama comes for the apec meeting in Singapore. wonder how the ppl will react and what he will say

finally back here crapping aft 2 mths! (anw guess its ony me reading wad i write now)
but nevertheless, this wk had been very eventful and i wanted to not forget this wk. was going to blog on friday night but guess i was too tired to use any part of my brain so here i am now :)

talking abt friday, it was memorable becoz i earned it in a sense.(otherwise it would be a sat morning bookout) haha.. overall its a memorable wk here goes.

tues, we did our ippt test for the 1st time in aslc. miraculously, i made it for my sbj even w/o much trg. pure luck i guess haha. gold for ippt finally :D $200! haha.. previously i wanted to use this $200 to invest in a good watch but will keep it for now.

wed was a very disappointing day. did our soc. failed at the low rope station thus failing the whole soc. was damn depressed as soc was a veto factor to pass our aslc.

thurs was a good day as we passed and ended our navigation exercise early.( was the 2nd grp of the whole company to finish! haha luck agn) therefore our grp passed everythg and got our CSB badge

fri was soc retest for those who failed on wed. as usual was nervous abt low rope . downed a can of red bull before the test( its damn effective) miraculously agn, passed low rope and the immediate endorphin boost made me chiong all the way haha :D and tts how i can bookout on friday night

this wk was significant as i got gold for ippt and passed soc for the 1st time in this 6 mths of my army life. it was a wk where i broke 2 boundaries and got my csb badge along the way. anw just wanted to mention a friend like me who failed his soc for the 1st attempt, becoz of timing. he met the passing timing on the dot on friday and 1 more sec he took would land him 15 hours mre in camp haha. it shows that heaven will help good people ( hes a nice person)

some random things other than army. invested in the stock mkt recently. smth i wanted to do since jc times. main aim is to get some experience instead of making big bucks. going to take my driving test in 2 wks time too before taiwan. havent drive for 3 mths alr! hopefully i will pass and leave sg w a positive mood.
